No - Behavioural Incidents that occurred during the weeks skiing:

The behaviour of our pupils was exemplary and was commented on by the President of the GAA who we met at the airport, Hotel staff, Staff from two other schools sharing the hotel with us and the other guests in the Hotel.

Once again this proved to be a highly successful and enjoyable experience for both pupils and staff.

The relationships formed and developed by our pupils within their own year group, with their teachers and instructors were excellent throughout the week.

Their manners and behaviour were a credit to themselves, their families, and their school and to their teachers.

We as a group of teachers were always very proud to say that these were our kids.

The other teachers on the trip deserve special mention for their devotion to their pupils – looking after their money, comforting and advising them day and night, patrolling corridors and discos, checking ski groups on the mountain, checking rooms and luggage, available 24 hours per day when required and always prepared to act and give each child the maximum support and confidence he/she required in a very different country.

The opportunity for teachers and pupils to communicate, dine together, dance together, ski together and talk together was an educational experience on its own.

All the pupils on the trip and several parents – see Whats App Comments attached/ I have spoken to, have expressed their thanks and admiration for the manner in which their children were treated, supervised and above all protected. I am grateful to my colleagues for their professionalism and help.

I think the pupils who went on this trip will have been enlightened by this adventure and hopefully will appreciate the sacrifices made by their parents, their school and their teachers to provide them with this unique experience.

In conclusion we were extremely proud of the pupils who represented our school and thankfully everyone arrived home safe and sound and hopefully more mature and responsible.
