Students at St Pius X College study Business Studies one period per ten days.  They follow a programme which has been designed internally by the Department which is based upon GCSE Business and Communication Systems.  There is a differentiated programme for different classes.  The aim of the programme is to ‘introduce’ the students to the subject area of Business and allow them to make an informed choice in relation to their KS4 options.  The programme focusses on Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Databases, Word Processing and Spreadsheets.
