Pupils also learn a poem for local Feiseanna.

Year 9

French

 

Ordering drinks and snacks in the café, appearance and character of family members, time and daily routine, the house, sports, musical instruments and leisure activities, weather, finding your way around town and shopping for food.

 

Irish

 

School subjects and school life, sports, musical instruments and leisure activities, daily routine, description of your house, talking about your family, family members, finding your way around town, public signs and notices.

Year 10

French

 

Clothes and fashion, leisure activities and free time, countries, nationalities, holidays including transport and booking accommodation, at the hotel, parts of the body and feeling unwell and occupations.

Principal towns and counties of Ireland, European countries, natives and languages, holidays including transport and accommodation, ordering in a restaurant, occupations and careers, personal descriptions of family members, parts of the body and feeling unwell.
