Year 10 look after their Wellbeing in a series of Mindfulness Workshops
On Tuesday 4th February Year 10 pupils from our college had the opportunity to take part in a workshop focusing on Wellbeing.
Pupils discussed, areas of concern, worry and stress for teenagers. They then looked at simple exercises they can use to help maintain their wellbeing. These exercises included shape breathing, relaxation techniques, visualisation exercises etc.
To end the session pupils completed gratitude cards, highlighting things they are grateful for and making a promise to themselves to look after their wellbeing using one of the techniques learned or suggested by their peers.
